Role Overview: As an Orthoptist, your primary responsibilities will include: • Conducting patient assessments such as vision testing, tonometry, visual fields, OCT imaging, retinal photography, corneal topography, microscopy, and A-scan (IOL Master and immersion). • Assisting with intravitreal injections, minor procedures, cataract and laser patient assessments and counselling. • Pre-assessing patients and managing administrative tasks like organising surgery lists and liaising with hospitals. Your organisational and clinical management skills will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding care while supporting the smooth operation of the practice. Key Requirements: The ideal candidate will: • Possess a professional demeanour and a mature outlook. • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, including professional telephone etiquette. • Exhibit attention to detail, computer literacy, and a team-oriented attitude. • Maintain professional presentation and conduct.
