Role
Overview:
As an Orthoptist, your primary responsibilities
will include:
• Conducting patient assessments such as vision
testing, tonometry, visual fields, OCT imaging, retinal
photography, corneal topography, microscopy, and A-scan (IOL
Master and immersion).
• Assisting with intravitreal injection-
s, minor procedures, cataract and laser patient assessments
and counselling.
• Pre-assessing patients and managing
administrative tasks like organising surgery lists and liaising
with hospitals.
Your organisational and clinical management
skills will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding
care while supporting the smooth operation of the practice.
