Part-time Orthoptist/ Ophthalmic Assistant – Waterloo, NSW

Description

We are seeking a motivated orthoptist/ophthalmic assistant to join our practice. The clinic covers a range of ophthalmic subspecialties.

The job involves involvement with :
• patient assessment and testing
• patient counselling
• maintenance of sterilisation of instruments, clinical areas, and stock take
• assisting with intravitreal injections & other minor procedures
* other tasks as required.

Experience using the following equipment is desirable:
• iCare Tonometry
• Autorefraction
• OCT
• Humphrey Visual Field
• IOL Master
• Fundus Camera

Green Square is centrally located only 3.5km from the CBD and Sydney Airport. The practice is located within walking distance from Green Square Station, the Green Square aquatic centre Virgin Active and East Village Shopping Centre in Zetland.
