Sydney Retina Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join the team.
Great opportunity for an Orthoptist to work in our busy ophthalmic consulting rooms, located in Macquarie Street, Sydney CBD.
We are committed to the management of urgent conditions without delay, whilst maintaining a high standard of care to our patients in a professional and caring environment.
The successful candidate should be team focused, with a strong commitment to patient care through clear communication and interactions within a multidisciplinary team. You will have an understanding and respect of health and safety in the workplace. Excellent time management skills are necessary and a positive and willing “can do” attitude towards multi-skilling and striving for improvement will be highly regarded.

Objectives of role:
• Deliver a high standard of medical care according to competency, standards and procedures
• Work alongside staff members as part of an integrated, interdisciplinary team
• Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients
Essential Criteria:
• Current Orthoptic Board registration / WWC check / NSW Police check
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
• Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
• Ability to ensure excellence in customer service and patient care with an outstanding work ethic.
