Marsden Eye Specialists is seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join our large and experienced orthoptic team.
We currently have an opportunity for a 1-year maternity leave contract in a part-time position, working Tuesday to Friday. There is potential for this to extend into a permanent position.
We also welcome applications from casual Orthoptists seeking flexible, regular work.
This is an opportunity to work within a busy ophthalmology practice alongside experienced Orthoptists and Ophthalmologists, with exposure to a broad range of clinical services, advanced diagnostic technology and ophthalmic subspecialties.

• A large and experienced team of Orthoptists and Ophthalmologists

ABOUT THE ROLE
Your day-to-day responsibilities will primarily include:
• Comprehensive ophthalmic assessments during patient consultations
• Operation of a wide range of advanced ophthalmic imaging and diagnostic equipment
• Supporting ophthalmologists across a broad range of subspecialties
• Opportunities for involvement in advanced diagnostic, surgical, research and specialty clinics, depending on your interests and experience
Ongoing training, support and mentorship will be provided, with opportunities to broaden your clinical skills within a supportive and collaborative team.

We are looking for an Orthoptist who is:

• Enthusiastic about learning new skills and working with advanced ophthalmic technology
• Willing to work across our three practice sites
