MBL Eye Surgeons are a leading ophthamology group based in the Northern Rivers of NSW with four highly respected Ophthamologists across four clinics/locations. The practice specialises in Vitreoretinal, Oculoplastics, Glaucoma and Cataract surgery with additional interest in Neuro-ophthamology, Paediatrics and Macular Degeneration.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a team of Ophthamologists, Orthoptists, nurses and Ophthalmic Technicians. TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations including: vision, IOP, Ocular motility, diagnostic imaging, Visual fields, Topography, Biometry and Autorefractions
Provide pre and post- operative care in conjunction with doctors
Assisting the doctors with Intravitreal injections and minor op procedures
Assisting with organising surgical lists and lens ordering

REQUIREMENTS include:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proven success working in a fast-paced setting
A strong commitment to providing high quality, patient centred care

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Science in Orthoptics or equivalent

Open to new graduates as training will be provided
