Orthoptist

Description

We are a multi-specialist practice located in St Vincent’s Clinic, with emphasis on cataract, glaucoma and oculoplastics.We are seeking a full-time orthoptist who is enthusiastic and outgoing to join our team. You will be collaborating with our team of 4 doctors, orthoptists and administrative staff. We are looking for a candidate who is cross-skilled, autonomous and motivated.

Responsibilities include both orthoptic and administrative. Training will be provided with new graduates welcome to apply. Your duties include:
– Screening of patients including refraction, vision, OCT, Visual field testing, retinal photography, IOL Master and Pentacam
– Sterilisation of equipment and stocktake
– Screening of in-patients who require ophthalmology consults as we work alongside St Vincent’s Private Hospital
– Assist with minor procedures

Visa sponsorship is not available. You must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
