About Us:

Located in Brookvale on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches, Northern Beaches Cataract Retina Glaucoma is a large, multidisciplinary ophthalmology practice with a reputation founded on clinical excellence and compassionate care.

We are home to 13 experienced ophthalmologists, offering sub-specialty care in cataract, retina, glaucoma, paediatrics, adult strabismus, cornea, oculoplastics, uveitis, and general ophthalmology. Our team of clinical and medical administration staff are all dedicated to providing high quality patient care.

About the Role:

We will consider applications from enthusiastic people excited about the prospect of working with a team of clinical professionals and can impress with their keen interest and willingness to learn.

The role will be varied and all tasks undertaken will be expected to be carried out with a high attention to detail.

Once trained, your role will include:
• Carrying out screening tests and medical history
• Performing basic diagnostic tests
• Assisting with patient education
• Supporting our Ophthalmologists and practice in conducting clinical trials
• Assist our Ophthalmologists during minor surgical procedures performed within the clinic

About you:

You may have experience working in an Ophthalmic practice or medical setting, or tertiary qualified with a degree in Science or Medical Science and looking to pursue a career in healthcare or clinical research.
