Description

Chatswood Eye Specialists is seeking an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join our friendly multidisciplinary team.

This position is for one Wednesday per fortnight, with additional opportunities to cover annual leave, sick leave and other staff absences.

We welcome applications from new graduates, experienced Orthoptists, and those returning to the workforce. Training and upskilling will be provided where required.

Our practices include Ophthalmologists with subspecialty expertise in glaucoma, retina, oculoplastics and ocular oncology. Duties may include patient assessments, refraction, imaging (OCT, visual fields, Pentacam, IOL Master), minor procedures, surgical bookings and general clinical support.

Essential:

Tertiary qualification in Orthoptics
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
