Head Orthoptist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head Orthoptist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in diagnosing and managing a variety of eye conditions, providing high-quality care to our patients. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with visual disorders, including complex retinal conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
• Educate patients and their families on eye health and treatment options.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and existing orthoptists/ophthalmic assistants.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Maintain equipment calibration and servicing
• Medical stock Management
• Surgical list monitoring and billings
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Orthoptics.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
