		Job Title: Orthoptist or Ophthalmic Nurse/Assistant - Murdoch, WA Job Type: Other Location: Murdoch, WA, Australia Date Advertised: 11/03/2025 Description: We are looking for an Orthoptist or a skilled Ophthalmic Nurse/Assistant to join our team at Murdoch Ophthalmology Eye Specialist. Located in beautiful Perth WA. 3-4 days per week, however full-time availability will also be considered. The practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art-facilities. Located within the strategic medical precinct of SJOG Wexford Medical Centre, Murdoch. With an additional location within the Armadale Medical Specialist Centre, Armadale. Clinical duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Preliminary workup - Use of diagnostic equipment: tonometry (tonopen, iCare), visual fields (Zeiss), OCT (Heidelberg Spectralis), iTrace topography, Lenstar biometry, immersion ascans, retinal camera - Assistant in minor procedures, intravitreal injections and fluorescein angiography Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills and be able to work proactively with the team and independently.
