Our purpose-built consulting rooms are equipped with the latest diagnostic technology, ensuring we deliver the highest standard of care. We are co-located with an accredited onsite day hospital ensuring all our patient’s eye care needs can be addressed locally. The Opportunity MetWest Eye Centre is seeking a Casual or Permanent Part-Time Orthoptist to join our dynamic team of skilled clinical and administrative professionals working alongside eight consulting ophthalmologists. Each day offers variety, with opportunities to work across different subspecialties and assist in theatre. Key Responsibilities • Patient screening and education • Performing OCT and digital imaging • Assisting with minor procedures • Preparing theatre lists Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelor of Applied Science in Orthoptics or Master of Orthoptics is required • Experience preferred but not essential • Healthcare worker vaccinations required • Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) required Please note all applicants must currently possess the right to work permanently in Australia.
