		Job Title: Orthoptist - Crows Nest, NSW Job Type: Casual Location: Crows Nest, NSW Date Advertised: 20/12/2024 Description: Crows Nest Eye Surgery is seeking an Orthoptist to join an established single doctor ophthalmology practice in Crows Nest. The role is initially Casual, 2-3 days per week, with view of becoming Part-Time to the right candidate. We are happy to offer flexibility depending on candidate availability. Days available are Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday. New graduates and experienced orthoptists are encouraged to apply, training will be provided where necessary. Pay rate is negotiable, dependent on experience. The role primarily involves general orthoptic and ophthalmic assistant tasks in the workup of patients during clinic. An ability to assist with clinic administrative tasks at other times is also important. Attractions include a very pleasant and relaxed working environment, close to transport links, with friendly staff, and an easy to work with doctor. Good communication skills with patients, and a responsible and reliable attitude are vital. Applicants will need to have completed relevant B. App. Sc (orthoptics)/Master of Orthoptic degree.
