A unique opportunity exists for a part time or full time Assistant Practice Manager/2IC to join our friendly team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about patient care, is resilient, has a strong collaborative leadership style and demonstrates exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to self-reflect and appreciate the perspectives of others for positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide administrative leadership and operational clinic management
• Support and mentor the administration and orthoptist teams
• Partner with management to ensure quality patient service
• Manage patient clinic flow
• Administrative and reception duties
• Assist performance management, provide coaching and guidance
• Provide HR support
• Conflict resolution management
• Solution focused management
• Recruitment and training
• Onboarding and offboarding management
• Develop, review and improve policies, systems and procedures
• Culture positive workplace environment
• Contribute to team development and team building events

• Paid meal breaks
• 1 RDO a month (for full time)

• Minimum 2 years HR experience

Ophthalmology knowledge is desirable and Orthoptists are encouraged to apply.
