Part-time/ Full-time Orthoptist
iVision Clinic offers
patients the highest level of medical care. Our Doctors are
highly regarded in the Ophthalmology community.
We are
looking for a Part-time/Full Time Orthoptist to join our clinic
to provide efficient and effective orthoptic and ophthalmic
examinations at iVision Clinic.
Your key responsibilities
will include, but is not limited to:
• Patient screening
and workups
• Management of patients and patient flow through-
out the ophthalmic clinic
• Ensure appropriate and accurate
testing is performed for patients condition
• Patient
counselling
• Maintenance of sterilisation of instruments
and clinical areas
• Assisting with intravitreal injections
& other minor procedures
Knowledge of Diagnostic Equipment
include:
• Tonometry
• Zeiss OCT
• Humphrey Visual Field
•-
IOL Master
• Autorefraction
• Pentacam
• Clarus Fundus
Camera -
You will need to be able to demonstrate a
high level of communication, organisational and planning skills
and have an understanding of issues relating to people
with blindness, low vision and ageing.
To be successful,
you will possess approved qualifications in Orthoptics as recognis-
ed by the Australian Orthoptic Board and be eligible for
registration with the Board. You have client centred approach
in identifying individual needs and goals and have an excelle-
nt understanding of functional vision testing and an ability
to develop strategies to overcome low vision and blindness.
Experience would be beneficial but training and support
will be provided. Chinese, Vietnamese or Greek speaking
candidates are preferred but not essential. New Graduates
are welcome to apply.
