Job Description:
Position Purpose:
Provide episodic clinical support to surgeons adopting and advancing their use of presbyopia-correc- ting intraocular lenses (PCIOLs). This is a field based, HCP facing role that includes onboarding support for surgeons and their surgical teams, ensuring a smooth integration of PCIOLs into their practice. Additionally, offer responsive, referral-based support to address unexpected challenges or provide expert guidance, enabling customers to confidently manage the transition to PCIOL technology and deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support for surgeons initiating and progressing use of presbyopia correcting IOLs:
Support the development and execution of on-boarding support / accreditation for surgeons and surgica- l teams initiating PCIOL use, in partnership with the sales team and customers
Reactively support surgeon and surgica- l teams confidence & knowledge as required to adequately manage the transition to PCIOLs, optimise patient outcomes and address unanticipated outcomes.
Partner with the Refract- ive Specialist and sales team members to identify customers needing additional clinical support, and to respond to situations when/as required, prioritising support as required
- Manage the curriculum of HCP IOL education in alignment with annual business priorities, ensuring education content and resourcing available to support participating faculty including local and symposia education.
Oversees education grants [within Professional Education budget], in line with J&J Visions education goals and in line with compliance require- ments
Establish and manage KPIs to ensure IOL education goals are achieved efficiently and effectively, implementing continuous improvement action plans as required
Support and develop faculty to meet current and future needs
Colle- ct and communicate clinical insights and intelligence on the market environment, clinical strategies, competition, and other developments relevant to Johnson and Johnson Surgical Vision
Leverage the Medical Information Request process (Medical Affairs) to support HCP information requests
Appr- opriate HCC compliance relating all aspects of Professional Education, Quality, and Medical Affairs
Additional Business Support as Required
Oversee registrar education program including the science of lens technology and Toric / PCIOL / Phaco confidence development programs in / with teaching facilities
Provide additional support for internal team training as required by the Professional Education Manager
- Customer education support as required by the Professional Education Manager
Appropriate HCC compliance behaviors at all times
Documenting customer engagement in J&J systems as required
