Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has come up, to join our ophthalmolo-
gy practices in Hurstville and Miranda.
We are seeking
a full time orthoptist to work a 9 day fortnight.
The
successful applicant will work closely with our 9 ophthalmologi-
sts as part of a team committed to providing the highest
quality patient care. Ideal attributes include strong communica-
tion and interpersonal skills.
The primary duties are
clinical and include orthoptic work up / patient screening,
diagnostic testing (visual fields, OCT, biometry, optos)
and assisting with minor procedures.
With active ongoing
clinical trials the position also has an integrated opportunity
to be involved in research.
A willingness to assist the
administration staff is an integral part of our team environmen-
t.
