Orthoptist / Ophthalmic tech - Bondi Junction/ Miranda/ Hurstville, NSW

We are expanding! Sydney Eye Surgeons is a large multi-di-
sciplinary state of art ophthalmic group. We have practices
based in Bondi Junction, Hurstville and Miranda. Our
clinics are expanding with our move into a new, state of
the art medical clinic at Miranda in early 2025 and views to
do the same at our Bondi Junction clinic shortly after. To
get on the front foot and with the onboarding of new doctors
and the ever growing number of clinics we are expanding
our clinical team to cater for our growth plans. We are
looking for Full and Part time orthoptist and/or experienced
Allied Health Assistants or experienced assistants in nursing
(AINs) to join our team. ** Projected start date Jan
2025 - New graduates welcome and encouraged to apply ** The
successful applicants must possess outstanding customer
service skills and be a reliable and a highly organised individual
who is able to work efficiently on their own and within
a team environment. Reporting to the Head Orthoptist,
we are looking for someone to join our highly efficient team,
making our patients feel comfortable while delivering the
highest level of care and supporting the doctors to deliver
outstanding and exceptional service. About the role Wor-
k alongside an established orthoptic and admin team, respons-
ibilities include but are not limited to: General,
and specialised patient work ups General ophthalmological diagnos-
tic testing Pre and Post-operative patient care All
facets of patient triage Assisting with in rooms minor surgical
operations Assistance with surgical lens size calculations
and selection Liaising with admin staff to book appointment-
s and surgical procedures Managing and maintaining patient
records Who we are looking for: Someone with a
passion for working with people, especially the elderly. You
are an ambitious, solutions focused and an energetic team
member Strong attention to detail with clear and effective
communication skills Self-motivated, positive and demonstrate
the willingness to listen and learn Location options
available: based predominantly in Bondi Junction clinic based
predominantly in Miranda clinic Travel between locations. -
Qualified Orthoptist or Allied Health Assistant or AIN–
