best. We are looking for a talented individual to join our
surgical sales team to grow the Alcon Surgical IOL portfolio
in your region. Responsibilities: As an IOL Manager –
Surgical Sales you will be supporting surgical facilities,
and you will be trusted to oversee the overall IOL portfolio,
showcasing expertise in our products’ benefits and differentiati-
ng vs. competitive products by providing high technical
consultancy in assigned accounts. You will work with Account
Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right custome-
r solutions. In this role, a typical day can include: -Driv-
ing total IOL revenue and market share in the territory
(Newcastle Region, this territory will have regional and Sydney
travel)) -Accelerating PCIOL (Presbyopia Correcting IOLs)
penetration -Facilitating the Accelerator program in selecte-
d accounts -Managing tender requirements working with
internal teams -Working with Customer Operations on consignment,
leveraging MyAlcon360 -Developing new business with
customers to achieve sales targets. -Maintaining and optimizing
existing relationships and managing business with existing
key customers. -Providing feedback on competitor activities
in the field via line management. -Maintaining and upholding
an excellent company image. Competencies: •Deep knowled-
ge of all IOLs. Ability to detail the full portfolio of
IOL products. Ability to competitively position Clareon vs.
modified/advanced monofocals. •You will be joining a talented

focus. •Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation
skills, both technical and interpersonal. Ability to effective-
ly convey clear, complete, and focused information, and

mindset and strong customer relationship management. •Flexibil-
ity, motivation, self-confidence, resilience, goal orientate-
d mindset with a strong sense of drive. •Strong logical
and analytical skills to solve problems, ability to work
independently and be proactive. Strong business decision making,
based on data, fairness, and consistency. •Experience
with CRM applications (such as Salesforce) to manage relationships-
, complete account and call planning is desired. Educatio-
n: •Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics,
science or business Work Experience: 2-3 years of experience
in customer facing roles within surgical environment or
other industries Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedure-
s, product technology, and selling to the medical profession-
Demonstrable track record developing and executing
business plans, goal setting and team building, performance
management Strong desire and ability to learn technical
knowledge Understanding of the MTAA code of practice Why
