Eye and Retina is a ophthalmology clinic located in Waterloo-
, close to Zetland which is surrounded by public transport,
cafes and restaurants.
We are a small but growing
team here and are looking for either a part time or full time
ophthalmic assistant.
Role Description
This is a
full-time or Part-time on-site role for an Ophthalmic Technician
at Eye and Retina in Waterloo, NSW. The Ophthalmic Technician
will be responsible for assisting ophthalmologists in
providing patient care, conducting eye exams, and performing
diagnostic tests. Additionally, they will maintain equipment
and sterilize instruments, ensuring a safe and efficient
work environment.
Qualifications
Past experience working
in an Ophthalmology clinic (No degree required if you have
experience)
Proficiency in conducting diagnostic tests,
such as visual acuity, biometry, visual fields, and OCT scans.
Knowledge of ophthalmic medical terminology and procedures

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording
patient information
Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills for patient interaction and collaboration with healthcar-
e professionals
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
