Job Description:
Orthoptist required for expanding Inner West General Ophthal-
mology Practice
General Ophthalmic practice, thus patient-
s that are seen are cataracts, pterygia, eyelid disorders,
medical retina, glaucoma, paediatrics and dry eye.
Casual
position initially in view of becoming Permanent Part
Time or Full Time.
Duties will include:
- assessing patients
for screening
- measuring Vision (of all ages), IOP
-
performing scans: A scan, OCT, Visual Fields
- Assessing Dry
Eye Patients in view of potentially running/assisting with
a Dry Eye Clinic
Potential to come to theatre if appeals
to orthoptist (not necessary but an option).
Expanding
practice, thus scope for more hours and days if needed.
An
excellent opportunity for an orthoptist at all levels.
