Orthoptist/Ophthalmic Technician
Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic orthoptist to join
our friendly team to cover a maternity leave position starting
June 2024 to December 2024.
The position is for 3 days
a fortnight in Bankstown (3 Thursdays, 3 Fridays).
We are
a practice with consulting rooms in Bankstown and North Sydney.
Our North Sydney practice includes a day surgery and laser
suite with Femtosecond laser and Excimer laser.
Responsibi-
lities include:
• Patient consultation including; history
taking, vision screening, applanation tonometry
• Various
diagnostic testing including OCT, tear lab, IOL Master,
Humphrey visual field tests
• IOL Calculations
• IOL ordering
•-
Answering patient enquiries
New graduates or experienced
orthoptists welcome to apply. Support and training will
be provided.
Remuneration $50/hour casual.
