Job Description:

About the role The successful candidate will work within
a team and have demonstrated skills and experience in
clinical service provision as an Orthoptist, as well as working
closely within the multi professional Ophthalmology service. -

Knowledge, skills and expertise Clinical Practice De-
monstrated knowledge and clinical skills as recognised
by clinical experience, professional development activities,
post graduate education or formal qualifications. • Demonstrate-
d ability to practise within a clinical evidence-based
framework within the Ophthalmology service. Communication/team
participation Work cooperatively and effectively within
the orthoptics and interprofessional team and with patients
and their families to provide value based and collaborative
care. • Actively participate in a working environment
supporting quality human resources management practices including
employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational
health and safety, and ethical behaviour. Quality improvement: -
Demonstrated ability to contribute to quality activities
to enhance the delivery of orthoptics and/or allied health
