Job Description:
Narellan Eye Specialists is currently seeking an Orthoptist
to join a team of 8 Ophthalmologists and 5 Orthoptists.
Narellan Eye Specialists is a busy and multidisciplinary
ophthalmic practice in South West Sydney with sub-specialties
in cornea, oculo plastics, glaucoma, medical retinal and
general ophthalmology.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Oph-
thalmic screening
- Orthoptic assessments
- Refractive
surgery and keratoconus assessments
- Patient counselling
and consent for procedures
- Ophthalmic assisting (setting
up for surgical procedures and assisting with retinal injecti-
ons)
- Instrument sterilisation
- Management of surgical
lists
- Collecting of clinical data for various research
projects
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly
motivated individual, who works well within a team, has the
ability to exhibit high levels of communication and clinical
expertise. Training and guidance will be provided.
