We have an opportunity for an Orthoptist, aligned with our values to join the team and work with one of only a handful of Ophthalmic Surgeons with Fellowship training in Laser Vision Correction, Corneal Transplantation and Intra-Ocular Lens Surgery.

Your Opportunity

- Provide premium care to our patients in an environment that supports you to prioritise the patients’ individual needs
- Work with Refractive/Corneal specialist Dr James Genge, Retinal and Glaucoma specialists and our Optometrist who runs a Dry Eye clinic, along with an administrative team that is second to none
- Exposure to revolutionary technology and practices – LASIK, PRK, Trans-Epi PRK, Cataracts & general ophthalmology
- Surgical assistance in Laser Eye Surgeries and small in room procedures
- Work with all the necessary diagnostic equipment that enable you to best assess our patients
- Work in a team that values personal development and will support you to be the best you can be


What you need to succeed:

- Tertiary Qualifications – Bachelor of Applied Science (Orthoptics) / Master of Orthoptics or equivalent
- Outstanding communication skills with demonstrated empathy and patient care skills
- Sound judgement to work independently when required AND support a team to deliver outcomes
- Personal values that align to our Practice values

Proficient in Genie is a plus and able to perform refractions is a bonus!
