		Job Title: Orthoptist - Mosman, NSW Job Type: Full Time Location: Mosman, NSW Date Advertised: 3/02/2021 Description: An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated, hardworking and friendly orthoptist. A multidisciplinary practice consisting of 5 ophthalmologists, with sub-specialities in cornea, refractive, medical retina, glaucoma, cataract surgery, ocular surface conditions, uveitis and intraocular inflammation and general ophthalmology. A full time/permanent part time (with view of full time) orthoptist position is available. Duties include but are not limited to; - Patient screening including histories, VA and IOP - IOP/ HVF/ Lenstar / OCT / Fundus photography / angiography - Subjective refractions - Fluorescein angiography - Assisting with minor procedures including intravitreal injections - Sterilisation - Dealing with patient queries - Refractive surgery and keratoconus assessments - Management of surgical lists - Collecting of clinical data Training and guidance will be provided. New graduates and experienced orthoptists are invited to apply and training will be provided. The successful applicant will work as a sole orthoptist at some clinics so should possess the motivation, confidence and a proactive work attitude.
